Scientific name for this fish: Mola mola.
The ocean sunfish or common mola is the heaviest known bony fish in the world. Adults typically weigh between 247 and 1,000 kg. The species is native to tropical and temperate waters around the globe.
FYI: 1000kg equals 2,200 pounds. A little lemon on the side, maybe some long grain and wild rice, maybe a nice green vegetable sautéed in butter and olive oil with a dash of spices…you’d have a nice meal.
Just a quick post to say hello, hope you’re all doing great.
