Last week I published and uploaded to Amazon Kindle my latest book, “Noah’s Adventure.” Again, here is a short description as listed on the book’s Amazon sales page:
“…A 12 year old boy, Noah, goes to the zoo with his mother and father and is swept away on a seven continent fantasy adventure. He sees dozens of animals and learns about them in their true habitat. His guide and personal docent, Manny Meercat, teaches Noah about the animals’ lives. He also teaches him about the possibilities in life and how to grieve for his brother’s recent death. The story and content in “Noah’s Adventure” contains threads from the author’s own life and history. It is an emotional personal account in many ways for the author and it is in the same genre as Antoine De Saint-Exupery’s “The Little Prince” and Astrid Lindgren’s “The Brothers Lionheart.” This mid-grade children’s book will attract readers from age 10 to adult.”
I mounted a Free-Book Promotion campaign last week and got a ton of downloads. A free anything will do that. But, I wanted to take this particular book a step farther. I wanted you to be able to purchase “Noah’s Adventure” in print format. For some people, a book read on a digital paper-white Kindle device, or computer, or iPad, or even an iPhone does not have the same tactile feel as holding a printed book in your hand. Being able to tuck it away in a coat, briefcase or pocket seems to many the “correct” way to own a book.
In homage to those people I am now able to offer “Noah’s Adventure” as a print book. You can buy it now on Amazon Kindle. The long url is: http://www.amazon.com/Noahs-Adventure-Visit-Zoo-Fantasy-ebook/dp/B01AFL2SZ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453826633&sr=8-1&keywords=Frederick+Fichman
You can click on that crazy long link or click on the book cover above or below. I hope you do have the opportunity to read this new work of mine. For me, it is important, significant, emotional, and very personal.
And if you do purchase the book I would appreciate a review posted up on the Amazon sales page. Thank you again for following my work.
